The course teaches you how to use the powerful tools and features available in the latest version from Autodesk Revit. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no previous experience with Revit Architecture is required.

We will start with a tour of the user interface, then jump into learning about column grids. From there, we will teach you about walls, doors and windows, including how to offset a wall, place a door, and adjust walls and columns. The course also covers topics including views, floors, roofs, ceilings, casework, and stairs.

You will also learn about topography, rooms, and how to prepare and render a scene. Brian will then teach you about detailing, modify tools, and graphics. Finally, you will learn how to print and export to CAD, as well as how to link and insert CAD and Revit files.

Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will be fully capable of creating your own Revit models using the tools and techniques available in this software program from Autodesk. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.

Building Information Modeling using Autodesk Revit MEP: For Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers

The course teaches you the basics of using Revit to design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no previous Revit MEP experience is necessary.

You will start with a tour of the REVIT MEP user interface, including how to customize the interface and use keyboard shortcuts. You will then learn how to use the basic creation and editing tools, such as copy and paste, rotate, mirror, and extend and trim. We will show you how to start a new MEP project, explaining the various views, spaces, and zones you will be working with.

This video tutorial also covers topics including building performance analysis, HVAC, hydronic piping systems, and plumbing and fire protection systems. You will also learn about electrical systems and electrical panel schedules. Finally, you will learn about documentation, how to set up and use work-sharing, and how to present your finished projects.

Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will have developed the knowledge and skills necessary to be able to create your own projects in Revit MEP. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.

Building Information Modeling using Autodesk Revit Structure: Building Information Modelling Design and Analysis for Structural Engineering/

In this Revit Structure training course, we will teach you the fundamentals of building information modelling for structural engineering. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no prior experience with Revit or other CAD/BIM software is required.

You will start with a tour of the user interface and learn about the new features in Structure. We will then teach you the basic creation and editing tools, then move on to showing you how to start a structural project. This course will also cover how to work with views, set up levels and grids, and add columns and walls to your model.

You will learn how to add a foundation, create structural reinforcement, and place beams and framing. Tim will also teach you how to create floor systems and shaft openings, add detailing, and use Worksharing. Finally, you will learn how to export images and create a walkthrough for presentations.

Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will have developed the knowledge necessary to use the tools and techniques in Revit Structure to create your own models. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.

At the end of the course, each participant shall receive Autodesk Certificate of Completion and is eligible for appearing Autodesk Certification Exams (ACU / ACP) conducted by Certiport.
